Travelinfo

The Hague (locally called 'Den Haag') is located in between Rotterdam and Amsterdam. On Thursday afternoon we will welcome you in the center of The Hague, in the traditional Dutch pancake bakery called Paviljoen Malieveld, which is near Den Haag Centraal Station (central train station).

By plane
The nearest airport to The Hague is Rotterdam Airport. Is it only a small airport, hosting a few low cost carriers with flights from e.g. Paris, London and Hamburg. Best way to travel to the Hague from Rotterdam Airport is by taxi, as the public transport connections are not good.

Amsterdam Schiphol Airport is more frequently used by people travelling to The Hague by airplane. Schiphol is the main airport of the Netherlands, with connections to all Table 54 countries. There are several direct trains per hour from Schiphol to Den Haag Centraal Station.

By train
There are two main train stations in The Hague: Den Haag Hollands Spoor (HS) and Den Haag Centraal (CS). It is somewhat confusing that many trains bypass the central station because it is a terminus. For instance, the international trains from Paris and Brussels only stop at Hollands Spoor. You can travel to CS by train from HS in a few minutes.

By car
Major motorways connecting to The Hague include the A12, running from the German border. The A12 runs directly into the heart of the city, ending about 1km from the Eden Babylon Hotel.

Other connecting motorways are the A4 and A44, which connect the city with Amsterdam, and the A13, which runs to Rotterdam and connects to motorways towards the Belgian border. In all cases you will exit the motorway about 1km from the Eden Babylon Hotel (at the end of the A12 and the end of the A44).
